e-Apostille Announcement

The Philippine Embassy is pleased to announce that the issuance of electronic Apostilles (e-Apostilles) for Philippine e-certificates of civil registry documents issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) via PSA Helpline was launched on 19 March 2024.
Applicants who wish to secure an e-Apostille of their PSA e-certificate should follow these steps:
1. Apply and pay for the electronic certificate of their PSA civil registry document through PSA Helpline via this link:
https://e-app1.apostille.gov.ph; and
2. Pay Php 200 for the expedited fee of the e-Apostille through this link:
https://www.lbp-eservices.com/egps/portal/Transactions.jsp
The e-Apostille, which will contain the digital signature of the DFA, will be sent and transmitted via electronic mail to the applicant or end-user upon confirmation from PSA and e-payment. All e-Apostilles are verifiable through the digital signature and via the link provided in the cover letter attached to the e-Apostille and PSA e-certificate.

PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN OMAN CONDUCTS SEMINAR ON THE SAFE SPACES ACT AND THE DFA COMMITTEE ON DECORUM AND INVESTIGATION

(21 March 2024, Muscat) Philippine Embassy in Oman conducts a Seminar on the Safe Spaces Act and the DFA Committee on Decorum and Investigation for all Embassy personnel. Cognizant of the expectations of utmost courtesy in the course of official duties, the Embassy conducted a seminar on the Safe Spaces Act, highlighting the imperative to create a safe space for colleagues and clients. The Seminar was participated in by all Embassy personnel, encouraging all participants to take active participation in ensuring that Post remains gender-sensitive and safe space for all. H.E. Raul S. Hernandez likewise conveyed that the foregoing seminar is initiated with the vision that such will contribute to better camaraderie among Embassy personnel, and ultimately, to better public service. This activity is a part of the women’s month initiatives of Post. (END).

(06 March 2024, Muscat) Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Raul S. Hernandez paid a courtesy call to the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Chairman H.E. Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, 06 March 2024, at the OCCI Building. The Ambassador extended a formal invitation to the OCCI for a business delegation to visit the Philippines, fostering bilateral ties and exploring business opportunities. Additionally proposing the renewal of the pending Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and advocating for fiscal cooperation, emphasizing measures such as the double avoidance of taxation and the promotion and protection of investments. These initiatives align with shared economic interests, promoting sustainable and collaborative economic growth between the Philippines and Oman. (END).

(20 March 2024, Muscat) Philippine Ambassador to Oman H.E. Raul S. Hernandez paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Muscat H.E. Saud Hilal Al Busaidi on 20 March at the Office of the Governor where both stressed their keenness to embrace friendly relations and bilateral cooperation in various fields such as trade and investment, protection of the welfare of Filipinos living in Oman, and tourism. The Ambassador conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Muscat for the warm hospitality extended to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the Sultanate. In turn, the governor lauded the exceptional work ethic displayed by Filipinos in Oman's service industry, noting their remarkable dedication to work and friendly disposition. The Ambassador likewise took the opportunity to underscore the importance of pending agreements concerning the employment of Filipino workers. Additionally, the Ambassador suggested organizing a reciprocal business delegation between the Philippines and Oman to explore potential trade opportunities, also proposing the concept of medical tourism in the Philippines. THE ASEAN COMMITTEE IN MUSCAT (ACM) CONDUCTS WORKING VISIT IN IBRA

07 MARCH 2024. The ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM) composed of the Heads of Mission of ASEAN Embassies from the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, conducted a working visit to Ibra, A’Sharqiyah North Governorate. The visit was organized by its Chair H.E. Noralizan Abdul Momin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam. The Ambassadors made a courtesy visit to H.E. Mahmoud bin Yahya al Thuhli, Governor of A’Sharqiyah North, toured A’Sharqiyah University and engaged in a dynamic discussion with H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil bin Rashid Al Maskari, Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Regional Neighborhood Department of Oman’s Foreign Ministry. END.
