The Philippine Embassy in Muscat conducted field voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections in Khasab, the capital of the Musandam Governorate, an exclave of Oman, by the Strait of Hormuz, 535 kilometers from Muscat. The Filipinos in Musandam are healthcare workers with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defence, and the Royal Oman Police.
