The Philippine Embassy in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman is pleased to inform the public that the Philippine Department of Science and Technology (DOST) – Region XII in partnership with the Halal Development Council (HDC) and with the support of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be hosting the Philippine Halal Assembly 2015 on 03-05 June 2015 at the Marriott Manila Grand Ballroom, Manila, Philippines.

The assembly aims to serve as a venue for unified action and to synergize efforts of concerned agencies of government and the private sector, to jumsptart the development of the halal industry and enable the Philippine products to penetrate and be accepted in the world market.    

The highlight of the event will be the launching of the Philippine Certified Halal Logo, which will be duly recognized and accredited by the OIC.
