The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the Sultanate of Oman is pleased to announce that MS. FATIMA ZARINA A. ISMAEL is the winner of the logo-making contest to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Sultanate of Oman.

Logo Description:
The shape of the logo symbolizes the wholeness of the trust and respect that exists between the Republic of the Philippines and the Sultanate of Oman. The maroon color represents the sacrifices and bravery of the Filipino workers residing in Oman whereas the gold color of the text reminds us of the prosperity and elegance of Oman.
Furthermore, within the logo are the iconic representations of both countries. On the bottom part of the logo are images of Filipinos and Omanis wearing their traditional dresses - Baro’t Saya and Barong Tagalog for the Filipinos, and Abaya and Dishdasha for the Omanis. The Khanjar, and the three (3) stars and a sunare the national emblems of each country. The harmonious and strong relationship between the Philippines and Oman is represented by the hand-shaking with images of the flags of the respective countries.
