The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the Sultanate of Oman warns the public of online transactions involving the Philippine Projects Award Commission (PPAC); Project Commission Board; Links Global Consulting; and Champions Court Global Business Agency.

The said entities through their website www.philippinesprojectawardcommission.info disguise themselves as the “central procurement agency of the Philippine Government” and, in the course of such, transacted with foreign entities, issued them Official Payment Receipts purportedly from the Philippine Bureau of Import Services (BIS), and defrauded certain individuals.

The Embassy informs the public that the abovementioned entities are not in any way associated or affiliated with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and are not registered corporations with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines.

In view thereof, the Embassy strongly advises the public to exercise caution in dealing with companies that claim to represent the Philippine government to conduct procurement and bidding activities.
