Philippine Embassy in Oman holds Seminar on “Understanding and Implementing the Gender and Development (GAD) Program of the Philippine Government”

The Gender and Development (GAD) Unit of the Philippine Embassy held a Seminar on “Understanding and Implementing the Gender and Development (GAD) Program of the Philippine Government” for the management and teachers of the Philippine School in the Sultanate of Oman on 13 April 2019. Members of the Philippine School’s Board of Trustees and the PTA Executive Council also attended the activity.
The Philippine Embassy shared information on the GAD program, including key concepts and related laws and regulations, to enable the school to update and create concerned guidelines and policies, with the aim of aligning the school with the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy of the Philippines’ Department of Education.
