MUSCAT 25 February 2020 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said.

Secretary Locsin and the Deputy Prime Minister Al Said discussed Philippine-Omani relations and regional issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the Filipinos working in Oman, as they have exhibited competency and professionalism as part of the Omani workforce.

Secretary Locsin is currently on a three-day Official Visit to the Sultanate of Oman, his first in the Middle East. END
