MUSCAT 26 February 2020 — Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. visited the Philippine School - Oman as part of his three-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Secretary was warmly welcomed by Philippine School - Oman’s school officials, staff, board of trustees, parents and almost 1000 students with performances from the school’s choir and dance group.
Secretary Locsin gave his remarks to the school community noting the distinction of the school as a model Philippine School Overseas and its achievement of providing quality education to Overseas Filipinos for almost 30 years.
The Secretary also noted the Omani Government’s admiration for Filipinos working in Oman and conveyed the Department’s mandate of being at service to the overseas Filipinos worldwide. END
