13 March 2014 - Charge d' Affaires, a.i. Hjayceelyn M. Quintana visited the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) in Bausher, Muscat to personally receive and acknowledge the financial assistance collected by the MCBS' Student Council for the victims of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the Philippines. The said monetary donation was transmitted to the Philippine Red Cross. 

Ms. Quintana praised the generosity and solidarity extended by the MCBS students as an example of the humanitarian spirit of the Omani people.
