17 December 2013 - Newly-appointed Philippine Ambassador, Narciso T. Castañeda, presents his Letter of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman to H.M. Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Ambassador Castañeda affirmed the friendly ties between the Philippines and Oman and expressed his hope to continue the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
