The Philippine Embassy in Muscat, led by Philippine Ambassador Narciso T. Castañeda, observed the 118th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal on 23 December 2014 with a flag-raising ceremony, followed by a simple Filipino breakfast.  The program was participated by Embassy and Philippine Overseas Labor Office and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) officers and staff.
