Lulu Group Officials call on the Philippine Ambassador to Oman

12 August 2018 – Lulu Group officials led by Mr. Annanth A.V., Director for Oman, India and Sri Lanka called on Philippine Ambassador H.E. Narciso T. Castañeda to discuss areas of cooperation with the growing presence of the company in the Philippines. Mr. Annanth A.V. was accompanied by Mr. Shabeer K.A., Lulu Regional Director for Oman. During his call, Mr. Annanth A.V. highlighted the recent visit to the Philippines of Lulu Group’s Chairman Yousuf Ali M.A., his courtesy call on Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and the launching of Lulu Group’s Philippine subsidiary, May Exports Philippines.

The Lulu Group officials relayed their interest in holding activities in partnership with the Philippine Embassy to promote Philippine products in Oman. A Philippine Fiesta is regularly held at Lulu Hypermarket to showcase Philippine products carried by the store. The Lulu Group officials also acknowledged the contribution of Filipino employees to the success of its business. - END
