Philippine Embassy Team Champions Again
of ASEAN Bowling Tournament in Muscat
The Philippine Embassy team successfully defended its title as champions of the ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM) bowling tournament. The Philippine Embassy team was declared the champion at the 2019 ACM bowling tourney held at the Oman Bowling Center in Muscat on 03 August 2019, after getting the highest cumulative score from among the participating teams from the different ASEAN-member missions in Oman.
The Philippine Embassy in Muscat team also bagged top individual honors, with Mr. Macabangen Upam and Ms. Sheila S. Arevalo, getting the awards for highest score for the male and female categories, respectively.
The annual ASEAN Bowling Tournament is organized by the ACM to promote camaraderie and team spirit between and among the ASEAN-member missions in Oman. The 2018 tournament was also won by the Philippine Embassy.
The Philippine Embassy is a member of the ACM, along with the Embassies of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Consulate General of Singapore. END.
