Stronger Together: Philippine Embassy, MWO, and OWWA Engage Filipino Community Organizations in Oman

Muscat, 14 March 2025 - The Philippine Embassy in Oman, along with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), successfully convened a meeting with Filipino community organizations on March 14, 2025 in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting brought together representatives from various Filipino organizations in Oman, including the Filipino Community Social Club (FILCOSOC), the only government-recognized umbrella organization for Filipinos in Oman, to promote unity and dialogue on important issues affecting the Filipino community. Discussions centered on strengthening support, addressing concerns, and improving collaboration between the Embassy and Filipinos in Oman.
The Philippine Embassy, MWO, and OWWA appreciated the active participation of the Filipino community and reaffirmed their commitment to providing support while strengthening partnerships for future initiatives. END

Muscat, 19 February 2025 – H.E. Ambassador Hernandez discussed with Ambassador Al Riyami proposed cultural cooperation between the Philippines and Oman, with emphasis on the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The Embassy looks forward to fruitful collaborations with the Cultural Cooperation Department of the Foreign Ministry to further enhance cultural appreciation between the peoples of the Philippines and Oman.
