Grand Opening of Metro Manila Minimart by Filipino Businessman in the Sultanate of Oman

Muscat, July 22, 2024 - Dr. Joseph B. Cuarteros, a prominent Filipino businessman, proudly inaugurated the Metro Manila Minimart on 21 July 2024 in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. This event marks another milestone following the successful launches of Little Manila Shoppe and Metro Manila Bakeshop and Café in the past three years, further solidifying Dr. Cuarteros' commitment to bringing a taste of the Philippines to the Sultanate.

The grand opening was graced by the Philippine Ambassador to Oman, His Excellency Raul S. Hernandez, as the Guest of Honor, other Embassy officials, local business partners, members of the Filipino community, and well-wishers, all eager to celebrate the latest addition to Dr. Cuarteros' growing business portfolio, Cuarteros Partners International Trading LLC. His businesses are known not only for their quality products and services but also for their commitment to social responsibility. They employ a total of 24 Filipino staff members. Dr. Cuarteros has made it a priority to provide these individuals with stable and supportive employment opportunities, reflecting his dedication to uplifting the Filipino community abroad.

In his speech, Ambassador Hernandez extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Cuarteros and to his team for making his vision a reality. He added that the Metro Manila Minimart is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of the founder.

He also enjoined members of the Filipino community present to support this initiative and patronize this minimart and other Filipino businesses in Oman.
