PHILIPPINE EMBASSY AND MWO-MUSCAT CONDUCT TOWN HALL MEETING FOR THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY DURING THE ATN AND CONSULAR OUTREACH IN SALALAH 14 April 2023.

The Philippine Embassy, together with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) - Muscat, formerly known as POLO, conducted a town hall meeting for the Filipino Community during the ATN and Consular Outreach in Salalah. The resource speakers, DFA’s Assistant Secretary for Migrant Workers Affairs, Asec. Paul Raymund Cortes, and MWO-Muscat’s Labor Attaché, Atty. Gregorio Abalos, Jr., discussed the transition between the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the delineation of functions, mandates, and funding. END.
